VERBORGEN GROND (tweede kamer)
Over alle kunstenaars in de tentoonstelling kan men zeggen dat ze zich zeer bewust zijn van de omgeving. Het zijn de grond (aarde) en de omgeving (wereld) die onderzocht worden in hun onuitputtelijke gaven. Het onderscheid tussen aarde en wereld is hierin belangrijk. De kunstenaar betreedt het open veld waarin fenomenen zich haast als vanzelf aandienen om geabsorbeerd en verteerd te worden. De kunstenaar richt zich tot de aarde om een wereld te laten ontstaan waarin het geheim gedragen wordt. Ook richt de kunstenaar zich tot de wereld met taal van vermoeden en medeplichtigheid. Daar bevinden we ons. In het aangezicht van wat ons gegeven is. Onder de betovering van het onbekende en ongewisse.

One can say of all the artists in the exhibition that they are very aware of their surroundings. It is the ground (earth) and environment (world) that are investigated in their inexhaustible gifts.
